Laura Boyd is the heart behind Ruth’s Redemption Project—a wife, mother, author, and advocate with a passion for helping women rise from brokenness to beauty.
With over 19 years in non-profit work, case management, and outreach, Laura has walked alongside women in prisons, shelters, and on the streets, meeting them where they are and guiding them toward healing, stability, and purpose.
Her own journey of surrender to Christ fuels everything she does—from writing books and creating faith-based curriculums to hosting women’s conferences and building life-changing programs.
Laura’s mission is simple yet powerful: to help women discover their God-given identity, break free from the past, and walk boldly into the future He has prepared for them.

Ruth’s Redemption Project is actively working to close the gaps in services for women and children facing homelessness and crisis. Through resource fairs, faith-based women’s groups, counseling, and life-skills trainings, we’re creating pathways to healing, stability, and independence. By partnering with local organizations and community leaders, we’re building a network of hope that restores lives through faith, empowerment, and purpose.

Ruth’s Redemption Project is created to help women and children who are overcoming homelessness, trauma, and life transitions. We are currently focused on building partnerships, providing women’s support groups, and connecting families to resources and counseling that promote healing and stability.
Our mission is simple — to stand in the gap for women in need, offering faith, guidance, and community support as they rebuild their lives.

At Ruth’s Redemption Project, hope is the heartbeat of everything we do. Many of the women and children we serve have faced situations that made them feel forgotten, unworthy, or beyond repair. Hope reminds them that their story isn’t over — that with God, a new beginning is always possible.
Hope gives strength to keep moving when life feels heavy. It fuels faith, restores purpose, and opens the door for healing and transformation. Without hope, change feels impossible — but with it, redemption becomes real.
