Our story
A story of
Redemption.
Ruth’s Redemption Project was born from a deep passion to see women find healing and discover the purpose God has for their lives.
Every story matters, and every woman deserves a chance at a new beginning.

Meet our founder • Laura Boyd
Restoration became
a calling.
Laura knows what it means to need a new beginning.
Her journey has included addiction, single motherhood, domestic violence, and housing instability. In 2017, she surrendered her life to Christ. Her story of healing continues to shape the way she sees and serves other women.
With experience in nonprofit work since 2007, Laura brings both lived experience and a heart for service to Ruth’s Redemption Project. She is a certified biblical counselor and serves as a case manager at Martha’s Home in Amarillo.
Ruth’s Redemption Project exists to create a nurturing, supportive environment where women can heal, grow, and thrive. Faith, practical encouragement, and connection are at the heart of that work.
“Your past may be complicated, but your calling is still intact.”
This is an invitation to keep becoming—to find hope, take the next step, and believe that God is still writing your story.
