My Heart, My Faith, and My Yes: Trusting Jesus in the Unknown
Lately, Jesus has been pulling me into a place that doesn’t make sense in the natural.
A place where I don’t have all the answers…
where the path isn’t clear…
and where the only thing I truly know is Him.
It’s a strange feeling — walking by faith when everything around you says,
“You’re not fit for this.”
The whispers come at the worst times, too:
“What do you know?”
“They don’t take you seriously.”
“You’re doing too much.”
“Sit down. Be quiet. Stay small.”
But something in me — the part Jesus rescued — refuses to shrink back.
Because my heart knows this:
If Jesus called me, He will carry me.
And honestly, this season has shown me something I didn’t want to admit…
Some of the people who said they were “with me,”
weren’t really with me.
They were with my comfort.
They were with my smallness.
They were with my quiet version.
They were with the me that didn’t challenge their ego.
But the moment my obedience brushed against their pride…
the moment God stretched me beyond their expectations…
the moment I stopped dimming my light…
They disappeared.
And I caught myself asking:
Why, Lord? Why would they treat me like that?
Why would they think like that?
Why did they leave so easily?
But then the Holy Spirit whispered right back:
“Daughter, you didn’t lose anything.”
“You don’t need what I did not send.”
“All you need is Me.”
And I felt that deep.
Because the truth is…
I don’t need a crowd to confirm my calling.
I don’t need validation to obey Jesus.
I don’t need applause to move forward.
I don’t need people to feel comfortable with my assignment.
I just need Him.
He’s been so patient with me.
So gentle when I doubted.
So steady when my heart felt shaky.
So faithful when I didn’t feel strong at all.
But obedience isn’t always loud and confident.
Sometimes it’s quiet.
Sometimes it’s shaking.
Sometimes it’s me saying:
“Lord, I don’t understand this,
but my heart still says yes.”
“Jesus, I feel alone,
but I trust You anyway.”
“God, this hurts,
but I’ll still move where You lead.”
And I think that’s the most honest place of faith —
not the mountaintop,
not the celebration,
but the unknown.
The place where your heart chooses Him when everything else feels unsure.
People may misunderstand me.
Some may judge me.
Others may walk away.
And that’s okay.
Because my faith isn’t built on people —
it’s built on Jesus.
My strength isn’t coming from who stays —
it’s coming from who saved me.
My confidence isn’t rooted in acceptance —
it’s rooted in His voice.
This journey…
this calling…
this obedience…
It’s not easy.
But it’s holy.
And it’s worth every tear, every loss, every stretch, every unknown.
Because He is with me.
And that’s enough for my heart.
So here’s my truth, from deep inside:
I may not know the details.
I may not see the full picture.
I may not feel qualified.
I may not always feel supported.
But Jesus…
I trust You.
I love You.
And my heart will keep saying yes,
even in the unknown.
Faith in the Unknown: Walking When the Whispers Tell You to Sit Down
There’s a part of this journey nobody warns you about.
Not the late nights.
Not the spiritual warfare.
Not the weight of the assignment.
It’s the whispers.
The quiet voice in your mind saying:
“You’re not fit for this.”
“Who do you think you are?”
“They don’t take you seriously.”
“You’re doing too much.”
And sometimes… it’s not even your voice.
It’s the echo of people who said they were “with you” until your growth dented their ego.
Funny how some folks shout “I’m here for you!”
But the moment you step into a level they didn’t expect…
the moment your obedience threatens their comfort…
they disappear.
No explanation. No conversation. Just gone.
You sit there asking yourself:
“Why would they do that?”
“What did I do wrong?”
“Why does elevation feel so lonely?”
But then God steps in with the truth:
You didn’t lose anything—
I removed what couldn’t go with you.
Because the truth is:
🌿 Some people loved you as long as you stayed small.
🌿 Some people supported you as long as you didn’t outgrow them.
🌿 Some people stood by you as long as you didn’t expose their lack of obedience with your own.
But when God calls you higher?
Their comfort becomes conviction.
Your obedience becomes intimidation.
Your purpose becomes a mirror they’re not ready to look into.
And instead of facing themselves,
they blame you.
But here’s the part that brings peace:
You didn’t need them. Not for this assignment. Not for this level.
When you step into the unknown,
when you obey even while you’re scared,
when you walk into territory your family has never walked in before,
when you choose purpose over approval—
you learn something powerful:
Obedience is louder than insecurity.
Purpose is stronger than ego.
And God is enough.
The truth?
I don’t need everyone to understand me.
I don’t need applause.
I don’t need validation.
I don’t need a crowd.
I need God.
And every single day, He proves He’s all I need.
My faith is not in the things I can see.
My faith is in the unknown, the uncomfortable, the unfamiliar,
because that’s exactly where God does His best work.
So I walk.
Even when it’s quiet.
Even when it’s lonely.
Even when the whispers get loud.
Even when people disappear.
Even when my own mind tells me I’m not enough.
Because God didn’t call me based on who I was.
He called me based on who I’m becoming.
And I refuse to shrink to make other people comfortable.
This journey is not about proving myself.
It’s about honoring God with my yes.
My shaky yes.
My tired yes.
My scared-but-still-moving yes.
My “God, I trust You even when I don’t understand” yes.
If you’re reading this and you’ve lost people on your climb—
breathe.
God is replacing people who used to tolerate you
with people who will celebrate you.
Just keep going.
Keep being obedient.
Keep choosing faith over fear.
Keep trusting God in the unknown.
Because the unknown isn’t empty—
it’s filled with God.
And that’s more than enough.
Have you ever felt tired of being tired? Like you’ve lost so much that all you want to do is sit in the pain, hoping life will somehow change on its own?
Ruth knew that feeling too. She lost her husband, her home, and her sense of security. But instead of sitting in self-pity, she made a choice. She got up. She gleaned. She worked in the fields. And because she was willing to move in faith, God moved in her life.
That’s what the Ruth’s Redemption Project Blog is all about.
This blog is a safe space where faith meets freedom, healing leads to wholeness, and women are equipped to walk boldly into their God-given purpose. Each episode offers:
📖 Biblical Truth – Lessons rooted in Scripture that remind you of who you are in Christ.
🌾 Real Conversations – Honest discussions about trials, trauma, and transformation.
🌾 Testimonies of Breakthrough – Stories from women who have walked through the fire and come out redeemed.
🌾 Practical Tools – Steps you can take to overcome challenges and rebuild your life.
We don’t sugarcoat the journey here. Healing takes work. Redemption takes faith. Growth takes perseverance. But just like Ruth, when you’re willing to get up and glean, God will meet you in the field.
So, let me ask you:
🌾 Are you tired of being tired?
🌾 Are you ready to stop waiting and start walking?
🌾 Are you ready to do the work and let God transform your story?
If your heart is shouting yes, then the Ruth’s Redemption Project Blog is for you.
Because this isn’t just a blog—it’s a movement. A place for women to rise from the ashes, embrace their worth, and step boldly into the promises of God.
🌾 It’s your time. Are you ready?

Blog Post Title Two
Healing is not a passive process. It takes courage, consistency, and a willingness to show up for the hard parts.
Ruth teaches us this truth in such a powerful way. When she arrived in Bethlehem, she didn’t sit in sorrow. She went to the fields and gleaned. It wasn’t glamorous, but it was necessary. Ruth chose action over self-pity, and through her obedience, provision came.
The same is true for us. Healing requires us to “get up and glean.” It may look like therapy, prayer, journaling, setting boundaries, or simply refusing to give up when it would be easier to quit. Healing is the daily work of saying: I will not stay stuck. I will rise.
🌾 Reflection: What does gleaning look like for you right now? What daily action can you take to partner with God in your healing journey?
💜 Remember, every step matters. Every choice to rise instead of retreat is planting seeds for tomorrow’s harvest.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
Blog Post Title Three
Redemption is God’s specialty. He takes the broken pieces of our lives and builds something beautiful.
Ruth’s story reminds us of this truth. What started as tragedy became a testimony. Her faith and perseverance led her into a divine connection with Boaz, who became her redeemer. Through that union came not just restoration, but a lineage that led to King David—and ultimately to Jesus Christ.
Your story may feel broken beyond repair, but God sees the end from the beginning. He already has a plan to weave your pain into purpose. What feels like loss can become the soil where breakthrough grows.
🌾 Reflection: What areas of your life feel beyond redemption right now? Are you willing to place them in God’s hands?
💜 Trust Him. Just as He redeemed Ruth’s story, He will redeem yours.
Closing Note for the Series:
This 3-part journey reminds us that faith moves us forward, healing takes work, and redemption is always possible. Ruth’s story isn’t just a story of the past—it’s a roadmap for today. If you are tired of being tired, take heart. Just like Ruth, you don’t have to stay stuck. Get up, glean, and watch how God brings breakthrough.
